All new enrolments require a swim assessment. Regular scheduled assessment days are hosted and take 5 to 10 minutes. A booking for an assessment can be made via email.

Once a swimmer is assessed a booking for the term can be completed.

Yes we do! Please have your voucher number handy when completing the enrolment & payment process.

Re-enrolments occur in the last three weeks of the current term. New enrolments will be allocated spots in the last week of the current term. If you forget to re-enrol every effort is made to allocate you the preferred day/time. However, in some cases it may not be possible.

Cancellations need to be made before the payment due date. Late cancellations made after the final due date of payment incur the full payment for the term.

There are no refunds for swimmers who decide to leave the program during the term.

Fees for weeks missed will be credited to the following term or via make up lessons. A doctor’s certificate is required.

From time-to-time inclement weather conditions may render the pool closed. The following reasons are accepted as deserving of a make-up lesson:

1. Lessons cancelled due to weather /surf conditions
2. Illness with 24 hours notification and doctor’s certificate/or covid test

Please note make up sessions may result in student having to attend an alternate day/time and teacher. There are no make-up lessons for school events, camps and /or birthday parties.

Swimmers should all have their own swim cap & goggles. Swimwear should be appropriate for swim training. The coach has the right to refuse entry into a squad if swimwear is inappropriate for training.

WETSUITS ARE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED but aren’t mandatory.

It can be a worthwhile investment for the cooler days/water temperature, particularly for younger swimmers and those who feel the cold. For Learn-to-Swim students, this can be a surf-style spring/steamer wetsuit. For older squad members, who find themselves swimming through the seasons, it is worth investing in a tri or open water swimming-specific wetsuit.

There is one parent / carer allowed per family / child attending Learn-to-Swim lessons. Each family will be allocated an access tag upon enrolment which is to be used when escorting swimmers to their lessons. Lost tags need to be reported to the front desk. Unfortunately, no tag, no entry.

Parents are asked to stay clear of lessons so that the instructors have the students undivided attention. This makes it a far better learning experience for the student. There is a designated drop off /pick up area. Parents can access the café if they wish to wait on the premises or if parents are Iceberg members, it is the best time to do your own workout in the gym or pool!

Students will be changed from one level to the next at the teacher’s discretion and the completion of swim tests. This will only be done when the student has completed all the requirements for the current level or in the teacher’s opinion, the child has the ability or would benefit from being moved to the next level.

There is no guarantee that students will retain the same teacher when changing levels.

Please be aware that parking is limited and metred near and around the Icebergs. Please allow yourself plenty of time if you are escorting your swimmer to their lessons.

Swimmers 12 years and under need to be picked up from their lesson by a parent or carer who must be 16 years and over. Remember the pick-up person needs to have an access tag or they will be required to pay an entry fee.
